Andi Demitri

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I moved to Washington when I was 18 and completed my apprenticeship at the first shop I ever worked at called North Star Tattoo. After that I started up at Spokane Falls Community College. I took many art classes while there, but the ones that really helped me get better at tattooing were color and design- where I learned about color theory and juxtaposition, figure drawing - where I learned about proportions, perspective, and anatomy, and health and safety - which taught me about precautionary steps to take no matter what medium you are using. After I graduated I applied many skills that I learned while at SFCC to the various shops and studios that I've had the opportunity to work at. I love my career. It's so rewarding to be able to change someone's life for the better and give them something beautiful.
